Beauty connoisseur extraordinaire. I am a biomedical engineer who loves beauty, fashion, and am a perfectionist. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and raised by a mother who called going to Neiman Marcus, a "field trip". Of course, she never bought anything because it was too expensive, but she created little persons that could spot the best designer clothes, shoes, and beauty items in discount stores like Loehman's, TJMaxx, and Marshalls. As such, I am always on the search for beauty products that work. My standards and acceptance criteria are very high and my friends know that when I recommend something, it is a product well worth it. What I have found in trying to read reviews on beauty review sites is that everyone has different standards based on products they have tried in the past and the severity of their beauty problem. There is a need for well rounded reviews that provide context so that the information is useful. Being in a scientific research field, I have decided to do post reviews on products that contain scientific efficacy data from clinical trials, my before and after pictures, and conclusions.
